North Carolina Senate Race
(Richard Burr and Elaine Marshall)

"Major Issues"
= Education
- Senator Burr authored the graduate for a better future act to help public high schools across the country improve their
graduation rates. Burr believes that we must do everything, at every level of government, in the board of education to the department of education, and to prepare our kids in the 21st century. Marshall also have plans in the education of the north carolina, but for me, I think that burr will going to do much better for this.

= Healthcare
- Burr believes that there is a better way to approach health care reform that would reduce health care costs make insurance more affordable for those uninsured. While Marshall has long believed that reform of our current health care system is neccesary, she also said that there must be no increase of taxes. I think that they both have good plans and I like it both.

= Economy
- Burr believes that job creation and fixing our economy should be the number one priority of congress. He also said that we should also support those small businesses. While, Marshall said that we must create enough job for the people and solve the unemployment high rate problem. I think that they both have good ideas but for me, Burr has much better and useful ideas.

-Richard Burr graduated from R.J. Reynolds High School in Winston-Salem and he attended the Wake Forest University on a football scholarship. After graduating, he already began his career that is far from the halls of Congress, by spending seventeen years in business with Carswell Distributing, it is a wholesale commercial products company. In 1994 Richard was elected in the U.S. House of Representatives, he is the first republican for 20 years to represent the 5th congressional district of the North Carolina. Then he decided to run for the U.S. Senates in 2004 and in 2005, Richard was picked to serve the North Carolina in the United States Senate.

N.C. Democrat takes page from GOP playbook
In this news that I read, it shows here that the two running senates for the North Carolina is having a debate on what things they can do for the North Carolina States. Both of the Senators are throwing bad words to each other just to make the voters to go on their side. Washington is broken and Republican Sen. Richard Burr helped in breaking it, "Democrat Sen. Marshall said in the front of the camera in the news". But Burr's group said that, it is not surprising that Marshall's campaign would continue to threw negative attacks against Burr just to attract the people of the North Carolina and vote her in this coming election. The media said that Sen. Richard Burr is up by 45 to 31 against Sen. Elaine Marshall.
I think that the media did not do anything bias on their report on this one because the news didn't put more good things on one side, instead they just report the things that they heard by the two groups that are debating for their senate race. The media said about the race that Burr was up by 45 to 31 and which is true and not just opinion of the media, so I don't think that they are with Burr and also they are not with Marshall. The media also put a equal coverage for each of the group and didn't add anything that is not true on what are the candidates said. In this one the media didn't do anything about the candidates, because they just putted whatever they hear in the conversation, but I am sure many of those media has been biasing some of their reports and put more positive thing and coverage in the candidate that they wanted to win, so that they can make the voters to go on their candidate side and vote for him/her.

Recent Poll 10/22/10

= Burr still remains winning in the poll

- Burr - 50.3, Marshall - 37.5 = Burr +12.8
= Burr still have his good status.

Result of the Election!!!
= In the North Carolina senate race, senator Richard Burr won the mid-term election and he is the new senator in the North Carolina. Burr got 55% in the voting results while his opponent Elaine Marshall only got 43% and Beitler's got 2%. Burr defeated Marshall the last senator for six years in the North Carolina. In my opinion Senator Richard Burr really deserves on winning the seat as the new senator of the North Carolina because he really works hard in all of his campaign and we can see in the recent polls that he is always the highest between him and Marshall. All of his campaign really attracts the people of the North Carolina because he has a great and nice plan for their place. Burr has the eager for his place to fully develop it and make the best for it.
